A truly fascinating vintage 8ct gold amber cabochon solitaire ring, in our opinion dating from around the 1930s and possibly continental in origin, featuring a remarkable piece of natural amber with fossilised inclusions trapped within.
The generously proportioned amber cabochon displays a beautiful warm honey-amber tone, with natural variations in colour and clarity that give the stone its individual character. Suspended within the amber are tiny fossilised inclusions, adding an intriguing prehistoric quality and making this a particularly unusual and collectable piece.
The amber is beautifully presented in a substantial 8ct gold setting, with the simple solitaire design allowing the natural character of the gemstone to take centre stage.
